Народ побывал на MWC/GSMA и теперь активно глумиццо в пейсбуке.
We had several live 5G demos, dozens of connected cars, bicycles, drones and even one bulldozer, thousands of wearables, hundreds of digital eyeglasses and VR/AR systems, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored IoT devices... Also, a quart of blockchain, a quart of cloud and a quart of legacy software, a few cases of bigdata, two dozens of Everything-as-a-Service, and an industrial IoT as a swarm of industrial robots controlled over 5G.
Not that we needed all that for the bright future, but once you get locked into a MWC demo, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
The only thing that really worried me was the Industrial IoT. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man controlling high-voltage drives, industrial robots and hazardous technological processes using wireless connectivity, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.
